Have it on my iPad and it's a very big improvement over the Developer Betas. Not had a chance today to fully examine everything, but looking forward to having it finalised in September so I can risk using on my everyday iPhone.

Hi great video as usual. I have a question, do apps such as banking still work on beta software? I remember back in the day if the iPhone was jailbroken then you couldn’t use online banking apps.

I’m always scared to try out betas so I never have, but this one I’m considering. When you say it might affect battery, do you mean long term or just more charges during the day?

Been using the Beta 18 for a few days now on a iPhone 15 Pro without any issues so far. Love the new Password App so much easier. And I like being able to lock out my Amazon App but getting easy access with face ID.

Just installed. Favorite is ability to launch desired app from action button. I use remote to control my TV, and quick access to it is great. Also, ability to customize control center. I can make it less cluttered and have quick access to my hearing aid control app, which is very valuable to me. Thanks for greta summary.

I can wait till it comes out in the regular release but I’ll tell you I’m hopeful about the ability to adapt control center. As a hearing aide user I have been angry at Apple for a long time for making go through so much tapping to get to the settings for how my HAs connect with my phone. There is something currently in the control center but it is nearly useless to me so I’m hoping I can make a shortcut to the functionality I need! Thanks as always for your helpful videos!

Hello. Great changes! What about the files app? Sometimes when I try to save something from an app and file it in the files app, the files app option doesn’t show up! My Dropbox location and OneDrive are some of the options, but the files app option is missing. I have told this to apple support and they know about it. Why aren’t they updating this obvious bug? Hope you could push on ! Interesting to hear from you.

a) can't see recent activity, utilities, pet section in Photos App
b) send later option in messages

I am already on the beta program, but didn’t realise I had to switch to iOS18 first (because it wanted to download an iOS17 beta first.

You state that if a device runs iOS 17 it will also run iOS 18, at first I assumed you were going to only going to talk about iPhone based on this however I see you did mention the iPad a few times. Therefore I feel I should point out that iPadOS 18 will not be supported on all iPads that support iPadOS 17, for example my old iPad Pro 2017 runs iOS 17 but will not support iOS 18. Do you plan to made a video specific to iPad or is this something that perhaps should have been mentioned also? Aside form that another great video ☺
