Penn Medicine Vascular Surgeon Venkat Kalapatapu, MD, provides care to patients with all types of vascular disease, including aneurysms and dissections of the aorta, blockages in arteries in the leg, neck, abdomen and arms, varicose veins, and thoracic outlet syndrome. He specializes in both minimally invasive and open vascular surgery treatment options.
“When patients come to see me, they're coming to see a family member who is going to take care of them,” says Dr. Kalapatapu. “Because one of the things I love about vascular surgery is it's a longitudinal care. It is not a one-time procedure and then you're done. We take care of patients throughout their lives.”
