My dad was a police officer and it was the most traumatizing thing ever. I mean they have to kill people and save people and watch people die and they in turn get trauma and my dad would lock himself in his room all day and never ever hung out with me bc he was so depressed. Y’all need to think about the bigger picture they aren’t really good for parents and they could die on the job any day leaving your kids without a parent and you without a partner and the whole family with just trauma

The cop issue is that there’s a history of cops being abusive to their family. There’s a lot of PTSD due to the job which tends to make them beat their wives as an outlet.

Pretty sure that the police force in Phoenix has been investigated by the Supreme Court and has been deemed one of the most racist and corrupt in the country. There’s some articles about it if you wanna fact check, but I think that those women were coming from a sound place, especially being in the Phoenix area.

It’s not hypocritical to not wanna date someone in Law enforcement. It’s one thing to call someone to do their civic duty and another to want to date someone who works for the system

A lot of women prefer not to date a Police Officer because of the history of women not receiving help or him being held accountable in domestic abuse situations. In 2003 1500 Orange County police officers were switched to desk or laid off due to the new gun laws and domestic abuse charges.
