The scam for that first one, is that Nestle is responsible for 11 million infant deaths.

The first three are why I wish food science was taught in schools alongside nutrition. There's really nothing wrong with drumsticks seemingly not melting; it just has a bunch of air plus natural stabilizers in it that make the texture thick and continue to hold its shape when it melts. It's not labelled as ice cream and it's really not fair to hold it to the same standards as ice cream. Is it worth the price considering so much of the product's volume is air? Probably not, but that's not what people are complaining about. With Poppi and Bloom, most foods that make "miracle" health claims will usually only give you expensive bodily waste because the majority of people get a perfectly acceptable amount of micronutrients through their regular diets.

As a kinda old lady, I can tell you that Benefiber powder, when you add it to water is clear; so yes, fiber can be clear!

Biggest takeaway from this video is that no one knows what a "scam" is.

The silliest thing about these new sodas as a "digestive aid" is it has inulin, which is terrible for people with IBS or a sensitive gut in general.

Okay because I hear this all the time and it is a bit annoying at this point... Ice cream is a legally protected term. Anything that does not meet that definition cannot legally call itself ice cream. This doesn't mean that what you are eating is fake or bad. Dairy producers fiercely protect definitions of cream, ice cream, butter, and milk. This is why you see terms like "frozen dairy treat" or "buttery spread" in lieu of ice cream or butter.

It would be like if cotton producers said that only textiles made of 100% cotton could be called fabric.

I used to work for crumbl and can definitely say we didn’t just use box mix for the cookies! There were recipes that we had to follow and we had large bins of all the ingredients:)

I assume that Chipotle workers are carefully monitored where portion sizes are concerned. I’m a Whole Foods baker, and we have our weights checked DAILY to make sure they’re correct as per company guidelines. But it goes both ways; we would get in trouble for items weighing under as well. But we can’t just give people double portions for free, either. It would be considered stealing. I would guess Chipotle is similar. These poor minimum wage workers aren’t just trying to be jerks, people need to calm tf down😭

The thing with crumbl is they don't cook their cookies all the way through. I worked with them for about a month and they only bake their cookies at 290 for the same amount of time that most cookies are cooked at 350 for. I saw a post from another employee that claimed the temperature out of the oven did not meet health standards and he was pretty much fired for alerting corporate about it. If you bake your cookies at home, then go right ahead with making medium rare cookies, but for a company to do that is sus.

Drumsticks are not a scam. The stabilizers and lack of cream are blatantly stated on the back of the packaging. The stabilizers makeup for the lack of fat from cream in real ice cream, which gives ice cream it’s structure. The lighter/ airer and ice cream is the faster it melts unless it has added stabilizers. The overchurn aka airiness of the dirt cheap dairy frozen things is just way higher. Air is free.

lol I can’t stand this ice cream trend. Of course it doesn’t melt like ice cream
Because it isn’t ice cream, it’s milk with a bunch of oils, stabilizers, emulsifiers like coconut oil and gums. When combined the product melts differently than a product made of mostly sugar and cream with no oils.

it's not fair to hold Drumsticks to the same standards as ice cream. it's not ice cream. it's a frozen desert. it has a decent amount of coconut oil in it. you know, an oil that's solid at room temperature.

In addition to what has already been said about the drumstick and the ice cream, I want to talk about something that I haven't seen discussed in the comments I've seen: the chocolate shell. Part of the reason why the ice cream bar took long to melt is that the chocolate that Häagen Dazs uses is a) higher quality, b) thicker, which helps it hold its shape longer and c) probably tempered, which gives it its snap (I learnt this thanks to Sohla El-Waylly and Claire Saffitz) and make it more stable, which also helps it hold its shape longer.

I love when the competitor says "alkalize & detox" on the box, two health claims that are complete bs 😂

its also worth noting that crumbl cookies are stupidly high in calories, as in a single cookie can have as much as 800 cals in

Thank you for trying these. I'm always blown away by the number of people who hate on something just because some tik tok "influencer" said they should without first forming their own opinion. Drumsticks were designed that way and never claimed to be high quality ice cream. It's a hot day out and the kids want something cold. Do you want them to actually eat the ice cream or do you want the ice cream to instantly melt all over their hands, face, clothing, shoes, car seat, and everything else they come in contact with?

7:11 "I'm not going to say Bloom is a scam" yeah, for legal reasons of course 😆

I love Poppis, but I do think they should be cheaper. I wish they would sell 12 packs for like 15 bucks or something. That would feel more fair to me than these 4 pack for 9 bucks.
