Karman Bravo Mock Test Launches | Project Sunride

The Project Sunride team has successfully completed several test launches of the Karman Bravo Mock rocket, ahead of the launch of Karman Bravo to 100,000 feet in the USA on June 15th.

The Karman Series sub-team spent the past academic year designing and building a 1:1 scale rocket, Karman Bravo Mock, in parallel with the design and manufacture of Karman Bravo. This rocket has enabled the team to test and make changes to the design without worrying about the final product.

The top stage of Karman Bravo has now flown 4 times and was fully recovered on all 4 occasions. Many thanks to the UK Rocketry Association Team Project Support mentors that have helped us through this process, especially Colin Rowe, Christopher Brown and Paul Carter!
