You forgot the part where you drive into the pit lane at 200 miles an hour on bahrain and manage to brake down to pit speed within 0.1 seconds.

Automatic is faster because if you enter the pit lane you can go full throtle and the pit limiter is going from 250mph to 80mph automatically... In manual you lose so much more time in the entry of the pit lane

Also with automatic you can go full speed into the pit lane and it auto slows down to the limiter. That gains you like a second a stop

I use and prefer manual pit stop, but i use the automatic controll to enter and esc to the pit

Manual anything is always faster. Assists are good for beginners but ultimately make you slower. That goes for braking, traction, etc.

Well faster comes at a price of losing time at pit entry cuz you braked too much or getting yourself a penalty for hitting the line ever so slightly faster

Imagine it was the same speed but the pit stop on the left was faster

The tire change can varies in time so the outcome could varies.
