Harvesting Spirulina Algae, and Prepping for Regrowth

Hi. Apologies for the short hiatus, I've been pretty busy recently.

Anyway, it's been a couple of months since I started cultivating an edible form of algae known as Spirulina; I also made a video on that where I talk about algae and its many uses as both a product and a form of carbon capture.
In this video I harvest some of the algae, and I also have a go at making some bio-oil via pyrolysis under vacuum. My yield was rather conservative, and I think this is partially due to not harvesting enough, and also some of the algae soaking into the cloth, of which I was unable to remove. When I attempted the pyroysis reaction, I think I may have made bio-char instead of oil; my results in this video were inconclusive.

No doubt I will attempt to improve this process in the future!

Anyway, I hope this video helps some of you who want to have a go at this yourself (always encouraged!).
