As a voting democrat back then, I hated Nixon like no other. I have that clear in my memory and I never wanted to hear him speak let alone listen to what he said. This description of LBJ is spot on. I have more respect Nixon today and a lot less for LBJ.

I love listening to President Nixon. He is right on almost every subject he addresses, with an eloquence and intellectual capacity that is unmatched. It changes everything for me today about the opinion I had of him, having grown up in an environment and a reality that portrayed him rather as an imperialist, a "warmonger" and a political cheat.

I loved Richard Nixon. ❤️. Since I was a little girl. I wore his campaign buttons. Said all the slogans. I lived outside of Chicago. My community were Democrats. Nobody told me to take that stuff off or stop talking about him.. I didn't even realize he was a Republican until a few years ago. I am 64 now. Those were the times. RIP Richard.. 😎❤️😊
