The pain on his face knowing he has became someone he didn't choose to become, he wanted to be with Shelly again and she was his world. Anyone would of done anything for love including myself if I was in his shoes. If I had the chance to make the wrong things right while I'm already dead already I would take the opportunity to the fullest.

I honestly think this movie was so overlooked and misjudged, this film felt like a love story similar to mine, where I saw so broken that I found someone who made all the pain go away and made me feel completely inlove to the point where I’d do anything for her, and this film was exactly that, I think people seeing those movie needs to read the intro credit where is says Based on the Comic book and not the 1994 version

Brandon Lee’s version will still be the greatest but this was way better then the sequels we got after the 1994 one

I really enjoyed this film. I’ve always loved the comics more than the 94 film and this one got the emotional aspect way better. It’s a damn good story and shame people hate it

After slaughtering so many people, beheading people and proudly throwing those heads into a crowd, that vision of Shelly at that moment was a bittersweet reminder that....even though he accepted the task of being a vengeful spirit of death, he was given that task because he was a man so in love with a woman, a woman that he's saving from hell even though he'll never see her again. It's a reminder of that love so that he doesn't become a monster. This movie was full of those very artistic and deeply subtle creative choices. It's pathetic so many people just made up their minds to not like it with no knowledge of it.

In order to save the one he love more than anything he had to become something else. A being where bullets cannot stop him knives cannot hurt him. he is but a random chromosome, A pilot error, fatal distress, A complete and total madness, he became fear. He also came to the realization that his mission is nearly complete, and after that he won’t be able to see her again. To him, it’s worth it as long as her soul was saved and he accepted that fate and gladly pay that price.

I compare this part to the original when Brandon completed his mission and he was at his and Shelly's gravesite and Shelly appeared to him and gave him peace.

I am really excited but I do feel bad for Eric in this moment because it sort of feels like Eric is happy that he sees Shelly but when his smile goes away it sort of feels like he is I’ve sad that Shelly is gone or he doesn’t want Shelly to see what he has become but I am really excited for this film to come out I feel like bill and fka are going to do a amazing job as Eric and Shelly can’t wait for this film to come out

I hope one day I find someone who would do anything for me like Eric does for Shelly. I know this kind of love probably doesn't exist, but I feel like I already have it, but I lost it. He told me I deserve better, but I was willing to do anything for him. I even got help with my mental health for him. I mostly did it for me. Anyway it's probably too late I'm 29 years old. 😢😢❤
