There are few who can hit that last note in this song, but Lacey absolutely nailed it. Wasn’t sharp or flat, smooth finish. You guys are brilliant!

to quote someone from the smoke and mirrors video, "this gives me feral lesbian energy" and I love it

Well, I guess we all know whose minds the Phantom will be inhabiting now. Makes me curious now if you’d cover The Point of No Return too. There’s many fun songs to sing. And you both could totally rock them all.

The pleasure was all mine, my beautiful Phatom~ Always so happy to work with you and watch in awe as these wonderfully creative projects (either starting or ending as memes) come to life. Love you always, Rafael. 💗💗💗

All I saw was “Female Version” and that dragged me immediately onboard. I love PTO, and you embody such a deep, malicious, sensual character when you sing that you’re a flawless match for the dour Eric. And, naturally, you didn’t disappoint! You OR Lacey! Your voices meld perfectly, her high notes are impeccable, and you’re as captivating as always. Brava ladies!!

I loveeeed the lyric additions especially the whispered “Christine” after “In sleep she sang to me” “This face, this infection” and the “Angel, grant to me your glory” towards the end. And how you can hear the Phantom/Christine vocalizing in the background in a lot of parts.
I love it so much that I wish it were in the actual musical.

Angelic voices and amazing cover!! Highest props to you two!!!

OH MY GOSH, THIS IS GIVING CARMILLA VIBES AF

For those of you unfamiliar with the story of Carmilla (1872), it was a story about a lesbian vampire named Carmilla who fell for a girl named Laura. Surprisingly, this predated the release of Dracula (1897).

Can I just say I'm obsessed with how she sang "Phantom" around 3:20 in the video before the long high notes
There's just this fierce tone there I didn't know I needed

Our beautiful queen is back with a masterpiece, the amount of chills I got it's beyond this world, like- how awesome is this, the talent, the mix of the voices that take you to another dimension, this deserves a standing ovation, holy moly dude. This made my week 10000 times better, I'm dead.

I've never realized how beautiful yours and Lacey's voices are when they overlap & how well they meld, something you don't get with most other versions. Magnificent as always.

This my favorite cover of all her covers. This even trumps Hey Little Songbird. Hands down. Beautiful, haunting, amazing. Love it!

My daughter knows I've loved Phantom of the Opera since my high school days after seeing it in New York back in the early 90s and showed this to me. I will admit hearing this gave me the same chills as the original.
