The UN Climate Change Conference (COP 26) in Glasgow, United Kingdom is a crucial opportunity to achieve pivotal, transformational change in global climate policy and action. It is a credibility test for global efforts to address climate change and it is where Parties must make considerable progress to reach consensus on issues they have been discussing for several years. COP 26 comes against the background of widespread, rapid and intensifying climate change impacts, which are already impacting every region on Earth. Also, COP 26 comes against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the urgent need to build back better for present future generations to ensure a safe future.

The UNFCCC secretariat (UN Climate Change) is the United Nations entity tasked with supporting the global response to the threat of climate change. UNFCCC stands for United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The Convention has near universal membership (197 Parties) and is the parent treaty of the 2015 Paris Agreement. The main aim of the Paris Agreement is to keep the global average temperature rise this century as close as possible to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. The UNFCCC is also the parent treaty of the 1997 Kyoto Protocol. The ultimate objective of all three agreements under the UNFCCC is to stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that will prevent dangerous human interference with the climate system, in a time frame which allows ecosystems to adapt naturally and enables sustainable development.

The developed countries should pay what they had polluted and also population should be calculated into the cap. A country with 1 billion people should not be treated as a country with 5 million. Yes, per captia plus the amount has been emitted by a country. It is unfair to ask the rest to produce 1 ton per year while UK or US had produced millions times more to become developed countries.

The normally dead Prestwick Airport has never seen so many planes.

Today, I personally witnessed 767's, Airbuses, Lear jets, Cessna's e.t.c all arriving

from across the world and all with their own motorcade.

I can't equal Biden's 85 vehicle motorcade in Rome yesterday but witnessed oil rich
Kuwait with it's Green Royalty, had 19 vehicles all ( 4 x 4's ) and not one was electric nor

was there demeaning Covid or customs checks - nope, straight off the planes

into the vehicles. The cops even impromptu stopped traffic to let them onto
the motorway where they received a motorcycle escort.

Great COP 26 read .. BUT it is missing the key focus and element .. What countries specifically signed up and who did not..Where is the list!!
An example is New Zealand which has excluded Methane from its COP 26 report and climate change calculations because its 16b$ dairy industry lobbied that it be withheld??

The entire world is witnessing what is really important for a small group of countries.
Money and power.
It does not matter what really happens to the planet, its climate, its environments for as long they as they keep theirs power and their wealth. We all need to make radical changes in the way we live on the planet, or there will not be planet for anyone at all.
In some places the changes for the worse are irreversible as it is.
People want changes now, we don't want any more hollow talks, we don't want more group pictures or postponing climate targets.
The people on planet Earth want changes to secure life for everyone.
