UN Volunteers are inspiration in action!
Our UN Volunteers are contributing to United Nations Development Programme in Bangladesh in diverse areas with their skills and dedication. One of them, UN Community Volunteer, Ms. Mollika Akhter Juthi is actively supporting the urban poor in different sectors like education, nutrition, promoting gender equality, skill development, finantial management etc. to strengthen their communities and infrastructural development. She is also engaged in supporting the ongoing #COVID19response including awareness on #vaccination and Dengue with Livelihoods Improvement of Urban Poor Communities Project, UNDP in #Sylhet.
Let’s hear the inspiring story from Mollika, her supervisor Mr. Basudeb Chakrabortty, Town Manager, UNDP, Sylhet and one of the Community Development Committee (CDC) Leaders, Ms. Mahmuda Begum Sheuli.
