I am a 3000 hours f2p gamer in SA. I also did huge amount of horizontal content (affinity, collectibles, etc) Yes I am sick but I love this game.

I've just reached 2.1k hours too, as a f2p. Currently 181 roster level too, and after a month of Brel, main pala is 1539, Bard 1530, zerk 1472.5, glaivier 1467.5, Gunlancer 1465 and SH 1462.5.
I really can relate here even if u have more Brel char readya and more lvl7 gems. Im also waiting for Artist to drop SH. And im kinda exited for GL and zerk future balance patch

I play with a couple of true f2p players and 2 of them have 6 cheracters 1540, all 5x3 with good gems, insane quality on all the gear. (Both are above 220 roster level) they dont swipe and yet they can still afford and buy whatever they want

I only bought founders pack and ark pass. 2400 hrs in, 1530, 1510x2, 1495, 1460x2. 5 out of 6 are 5x3. I have >85% quality weapon on 3 out of 6 characters. Maybe 1 out of 5 accessories per character is below 70 quality. I have 6 level 9 gems. I think that’s about it.

I feel like, as a new player to this game... ofc not ever gonna spend money on this game, I'd probably do the same of having 6 characters... 2 - 3 characters atleast being able to clear the "latest" content... thats pretty much where I stand on this, currently 1415/1370 on 2 characters... maybe like a month from now? id have these 2 on brel? maybe...

Started 2 months ago, about 400 hrs, playing 3 chars, was 4, but del the gunlancer, main is destroyer 1445, pala is 1430, arcanist also 1430, thats it. I played other games, my other main is Eveonline. Takeaway is i dont really like the scripted mechanics, particularly the team wipe type, a tactic of pressure cooker to get ppl swipe to be competitive and it gets very boring after you learn it. Had more fun in EvE's true pvp. Anyway, gonna go horizontal a bit, i dont do the daily at all, my gold is from flipping certain market and AH, about 10k a day. Absolutely no drive to rank up beyond 1445, sure more content ahead, but mechanic wise, more or less the same, not much to look forward to. You basically overgear ilevel to the content level, then learn a few mech, and you are rolling, very boring. ppl find it challenging, is like going in brel when you are 1490, of cuz you are melt, effectively you should overgear at least 30-50+. This is the true mechanic of the game, this is how smilegate makes ppl pay, let you see sth you can look forward to and knowingly given you a false ilevel so your failure will fuel your rush to swipe.

Im p2w player with 3000€ spent and 4x max ilvl Gunlancers and 2x 1525 Bards for comparison. Just so you can see that you keep up with small and big whales as f2p.

How did u get Legendary engravings, grudge costs 17k a piece in central europe. Also the Light of Salvation, was it all just pure grind to get as many card packs as possible or? Appreciate the info.

Ive played only 2 characters and my main is paladin with 5x3 and 1800 swiftness, 1532 Ilvl. I also made a mistake that cost me around 600k gold.
Doesnt seem like your roster is really worth the effort tbh.

The only good thing about this game are the legion raids and those are gatekept by the community that's left in it. It's basically a valtan simulator for anyone new or returning. I can't say it doesn't deserve it's decline.

just 800h here, full f2p (0free items from other, 0$ spend), all done with brain, main, 2 alts with free vern pass and 2 with free punika, waiting for one more (last pass for me) 1500/1460/1460/1460/1460, lot gold left/lot silver left, never had any problem with it, 134 rooster, in that 800h like 100h-200h easy afking+waiting to run dungs.... game is f2p friendly but only for ppls who use brain, playing only from october 3th, on main helm brel +15 -1540 (will stay till brel hard-not wasting mats) and rest gear for now 1490 normal nightmare relic-zerk (too not wasting mats) just slowly doing g1/g2 brel ea week and will upgrade brel gear just to +15 what is easy so 1540ilvl for hard brel and than continue with brel hard and so on, easy game and fun if someone like me not tryhard, it can go still very fast, but as i say must important is brain. Edit: only doing 2 unas/2guardians/2chaos daily on all chars, and ofc in same day after week reset doing all weekly dungs thats all ;)
