I have the 2021 XC40 T5 R-Design (equivalent trim it seems to what you’re reviewing and mine is white), but I wouldn’t give it up for the newer refresh. I absolutely love this car. Not enough has changed overall, and I’m hesitant on the new Android Auto infotainment. The Sensus isn’t out of this world and Volvo could add more customization options, but what I’ve seen from the new infotainment is that it’s a step down, even less intuitive, and more laggy.
BTW there is an aftermarket body brace kit from a third party for the XC40, and I bet that would help some of the minor body roll in abrupt/sporty maneuvers.

Love my XC40. Just got it as a surprise BD gift from hubby. This is my first Volvo. I am totally hooked. It's loaded with the cool features. I love the trunk opening feature since my hands are always full. I had no idea there was the other features in the trunk or about the hook in the glove compartment, so thanks. Now hubby wants one. 😂

took delivery on a MY2023 full EV model and the volvo winter mat pkg was added on (I didn't order it, didn't want it, and they wouldn't remove it saying that it now came standard with the MY2023). I took one look at Volvo's version of winter mats and - as you say - order TuxMats. The TuxMats are fantastic and snapped into place with ZERO need for any of the included clips or velcro. HIGHLY recommend for Canadian winters

I love how spicy Yuri was in this vid. GREAT STUFF guys! We love our XC40. But the powertrain does suck. Electric fixes the issue with it needing more power and the transmission issues.

wife has a 2022 inscription with full body kit and polestar ECU upgrade. it's deceptively quick and looks great.

If you want a bit more power and much quicker shifts, there's a warranty-approved "Polestar Optimization" (tune) available.

The older 6-speed transmission is a totally different beast after the tune on my parents' 2015 XC70.
