This was a very insightful take on Post-Revolutionary Iran. However, although there is no empirical evidence of this but the majority of the Iranian people simply wanted political freedom. Equality among men and women was narrowed to an unprecendented degree, and the majority of people had economic stability. What they lacked, again, was political freedom.

@rinseoutdrycleaner Iran is pronounced E-Run or E-Ron. It comes from the Farsi word Aryaiian (English Aryan). They say the origin of name Aryan comes from Farsi "Rooiidan" or plant-growth/fertility. Thousands of years ago Iran was mostly covered by forests.
Ahmadinejad pronounced: Ahh-Mad-E-Neh-Judd Ahmad is a name, Ahmadi means tied to Ahmad or from Ahmad, Nejad means Race or Trait

Hi Arash3589, Which point you don't understand. It is difficult to have you comprehend matters without knowing how old you are and whether you live in Iran or abroad?? I just tell you this "Supply and Demand go hand in hand". There are so many things happen behind closed door that you and I are aware of but I know one thing and that is nothing is more important than FRREDOM and the right to be able to express yourself. Iranians have lost the will to fight and money seems to be the solution!!
