Rod is even saying that skills mean nothing without the enabling legendary.. Which is the core issue with them existing in the first place, they completely make any skill useless unless you have the appropriate legendary. This was pointed out years ago..

IGN makes a great point. If you have only ever played Diablo 3 and didn't know that Necromancer was a base game class of Diablo 2, you would mistakenly think that it was an expansion class.

Btw, Necro was my favorite class in Diablo 2 pre-expansion...
