+2k hours on aimbeast/kovaaks overall. I do consider like 80% of hours wasted based primarily that I gaslighted myself into thinking that grinding out specific scenario and 1 type of aiming will improve my mechanics overall. And what finally got to me how wrong I am was how I didn't use patterns that I pretty much practiced on every day were never used in game scenarios. Then ofc you get to notice things and address them properly - and if you do, you just get the improvement you deserve.

But let's be honest here and look for positives - even after so many hours grinding out on aiming, we get to notice new things on why it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Once you see and understand them, you will get huge benefits from it so it really isn't all wasted.

And I think you are doing amazing work by posting video about this topic 💯I believe that big % of aiming community actually experience similar issues, but are partly unaware of problems that are slowing down or even stopping their improvement.

The most important thing here is to be able to notice and correct your mistakes. Only then will you improve and not waste time.

proper technique for static is a main FLICK then micro adjust, part of bardoz method and the method VTmatty recommends to improve at static. “Smooth lines” doesn’t really help flicking that much because it’s completely different technique then flicking and doesn’t teach you stopping power. Also you’ll eventually bottle neck yourself because you’ll never be faster than an accurate flick. I encourage you to look into the bardoz method for static clicking.

the thing about smooth lines instead of flicks and micros is very relevant for me too. A lot of times i warmup or grind benchmarks i have that issue as well. Since i suck at microadjustments, smooth lines alaways gave me higher scores so i subconsciously did that. Ill have to get more accurate with my flicks and micros basically.

The first tip is only good if you want to improve kovaaks. To improve in game aim you want to be doing quick flicks and micro adjusting as that is how you will be aiming in game. Having "floaty" aim is more useful for aim trainers then games like CS2 or valorant

Doing 'smooth lines' (AKA floating your crosshair) will NOT train your aim. In a real FPS environment, you don't do a 'smooth line' towards your opponents head, you flick quickly and micro adjust as that is significantly more efficient. While floating your crosshair is efficient for higher scores, it will not make your aim better and anyone aim training should avoid this at all costs.

You should be flicking for pokeball ☠️
The point of the exercise is to focus on your fast flicks and straight lines but straight clean lines come from proper power output into a flick, not dragging your mouse, its also designed to focus on your stability of flick landings which is why you hold M1 and actually flick
