Thank you for coming back to You Tube. You & your husband reminds me when my hubby and I were young. We are in our 70s now. We too lived in a subdivision when we first married but was raised in a rural area. We moved back and began remodeling our home that also has acreage & we had cattle, etc. Enjoy the desire to make your dreams come true concerning your home. because one day you can look back with wonderful memories . I got married in 1968. As a child I remember my paternal grandmother having Revere cookware. So, before I got married, I saved my money and got myself a whole set of Revere cookware. I figured that if they were good enough for her they were good enough for me. I still have most of those pieces today after over 56 years and use them every day. I did actually wear out a few pieces - they got tiny pin holes in them. I've added a few pieces over the years but still use them daily even though I did get a Cuisenart set. I would have gotten the Revere pieces that I no longer had but, like you said, they have gotten very pricey over the years. So I picked up what I could at flea markets. I never regretted buying that whole set back in 1968. I still have many of the Cornflower Blue Corning Ware set that we got for wedding presents and some got broken and have added to that also. They definitely don't make things to last today like they used to years back. Glad to see you're back again.

I love the renovation content, but I can't imagine how much MORE work it is to film while doing it and I certainly wouldn't want my sweaty dirty self on the Internet so I understand. Could you do more sit down design check-ins instead to go with the before and afters? Like showing the paint or wallpaper or furniture you plan to use? You pick so many beautiful antique pieces.
