Being in the Appalachian Region I will say, BE VERY careful in the woods of Appalachia. If you feel to run RUN!!!! If you feel to hide..HIDE! And you're smart to not go in without weapons. Need some pew pews.

I’m Appalachian and I know that The Old Gods reside in Appalachia and it’s very real . These mountains are older than bones. Also, my family is from Bluefield and have been for generations… you’ll see and hear things you’ll never understand for sure. Spiritual protection will be most important… also, watch out for the methheads 😂 We go to Pinnacle rock all the time ever since we were young. I’m sure some of the people using ATV trails have seen some crazy stuff. Most beautiful place on earth in my opinion ♥️ y’all remind me of when we were kids and we would roam those mountains all day.. even sneak in old mine shafts.. play in slate dumps, etc. My Aunt and Uncle lived in a house on the side of a mountain that was nothing but kinfolk houses connected by those paths like that. We always had to park the car halfway up then would ride horses the rest of the way. Y’all would probably think we were feral if you ran into us 😂 Great job, though! I loved watching Thank you for being respectful. My PawPaw had black lung from the mines

Moe I highly respect you. For the respect you show our coal miners. I come from a coal miners family. I have lost family and friends in mining accidents. In West Virginia. Our biggest mining accidents was at the Sega mine we lost 29 coal miners. May they all rest in peace. RIP to all miners that lost there lives in mining accidents

My way to live a little is through the videos by you, jasko, cj, Angelo and others. I'm bedridden from extreme pain as a result of cancer. Love the explorations you take me on. ❤

One big thing to remember is never venture into an empty cabin or any structure. There are moonshiners in those mountains. They shoot first ask questions later. Also stay out of caves.

You're very brave because the cryptids in those woods would be the main concern.

As a 13 year old living in the Appalachias I can confirm that the whistling fact is true. If you hear whistling, you didn't hear it. I often hear whistling outside my windows at night when I'm trying to fall asleep, and I just pretend I didn't hear it, and soon enough it stops. I am scared to even go in the woods because I have seen and heard some disturbing things... Recently I was standing in a clearing in the woods behind my house, and I saw a deer. But it wasn't just ANY deer. Something was off about it. It almost looked rotted, which was disturbing, and it may have been something called Chronic-Wasting Disease which causes deer to seem starved. Disturbing nonetheless. Another time I was in that same clearing just standing there and I heard my younger brother's voice right behind me. I literally took off running.

The stories are scary, but the landscape is beautiful

As a West Virginian I’m loving all the WV content! Great video as always but the rumors of feral people aren’t true. Do we have families that live off grid in isolation, that are uneducated, and possibly have developmental delays due to the isolation, yes but the stories of violent “feral” people are just that, stories.

Moe, actual feral people, not homeless; are deep deep in the woods where people never go. You won’t run into them there.

Moe and Aldo. Please be careful! Do not separate from one another. Eyes on each other at all times. You can actually disappear. Praying for your safety! 🙏❤️

If it’s closed it looks pretty well maintained! It’s a beautiful hiking trail. Be safe boys.

Growing up I lived across the River from Fort Gay WVa. My grandmother called them Goat People. When I was 16 (I'm now 58) two tried to kidnap me and grandma chased them off with her shotgun. This was in Louisa Ky. As far as Bigfoot, we would hear them vocalizing at night and hear the knocks in the woods. I would walk and play at Lick Creek near my house and would see their foot prints in the mud. When I would run the creek I would carry a shotgun and machete. Also came across a black panther while out. The hollers and woods are very haunted there. At night we would hear screaming up on the hill behind our house and would often hear them outside our house at night. Glad there will be a part two to this.

Hi Moe & Aldo! This is so exciting! I live in PA about 30 minutes north east of where u r at. Those caves u pointed out earlier in the side of the mountains in the stone r old Indian caves. If u can manage 2 get 2 them & go inside u can find arrow heads & stuff like that.
I am really enjoying this explore.
The feral people u r looking 4 live in a town called Odd, West Virginia. Can't tell if u r close or not. U have 2 watch out 4 moon shiners also. They take their privacy seriously.
Plus people have growing fields out there (if u know what I mean) that they booby trap. Plz be careful u r not in nicey nice Canada anymore. These r people's lively hoods & they take it very seriously!
So happy hunting & by all means be safe!
U don't bring a bat 2 a rifle fight!

You shouldn't be yelling hello like that especially when you don't know how dangerous those people are.
