As part of my springtime maintenance, I make sure to lubricate the intermediate Bearing Housing. I am in no way a professional mechanic, I just enjoy working on the yammy and making YouTube videos. Hopefully this helps. Please provide any constructive criticism below. Thanks.

Bro - putting my boat in today in saint clair shores. This was the one thing I didn't know how to do yet. Thanks for uploading just in time!

When you pump grease into the bearing (your final step) you should hold the tube going into the intermediate bearing with your left hand and gently squeeze it then pump the grease gun with your right hand ONLY UNTIL you feel the grease going into the tube.

Three pumps (as you did) of a grease gun could be FAR more than .20 - .27 oz. If you overload it and blow out that seal you will be in a world of hurt.

Or at least pump 3 times onto and accurate scale and see how much it is.

Not criticizing, but that is a sealed bearing inside that housing. Your not "lubricating" the bearing. You're maintaining grease pressure behind the rubber seals that keep the water from entering your engine compartment through that hull penetration.
Over-greasing is the #1 cause of a leak in that area because it causes the rubber seal to be pushed out. Be careful...

That is one lovely clean boat. Thanks for this. Please can you share the make of your grease gun, you seem pleased with it and i need one. Thanks.

Great information! Very well-kept boat, btw. Do you use it in salt environment or is it for fresh water? Mine looks like crap, no matter how much I clean it. Your boat fiberglass looks shiny still, mine is dull!
