HAPPY SQUISHMAS

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Velvet. All Velvet wanted was a squishy for Christmas, and knowing her parents didn't have much money, she only asked for just one squishy which was an I-bloom strawberry. It was two days before Christmas and little 8 year old Velvet sat on her rickety old chair and gazed upon her small Christmas tree that had no lights because they were too poor to afford any. There were only paper ornaments that Velvet had made herself. She love the small bush, and wanted to keep it in her room because she thought it was so wonderful. Her parents of course said no because it was the only thing that resembled Christmas in the living room. Or what you and I would call a large closet. She woke up the next day on Christmas eve and she was ecstatic to see the small Christmas tree in her room filled with the most beautiful things she had ever seen. Her parents had seen her staring at the small Christmas tree and they knew how much she loved it so they went out and took out some of each of their savings to afford the cheapest lights they could find, which were fairly expensive for them. Velvet was so excited that night she could hardly sleep! She woke up the next morning to see two small presents wrapped underneath the tree and her parents standing in the doorway. She was so surprised to see *two* presents underneath the small happy tree. She ran over and hugged both of her parents before taking another look at the presents. Then she walked over to the gifts and opened the first one carefully, for she knew wrapping paper wasn't cheap and she wanted to save it. She unfolded the paper to find a beautiful soft I-bloom strawberry inside the wrapping. She couldn't stop smiling she almost forgot about the other package until her mother said, " Don't you want to open the other one, sweet heart?" Velvet quickly nodded and carefully unfolded the next smaller package to find a beautiful necklace that her parents had been saving for since the last Christmas which was two years ago. You see, the only had money for a Christmas once every two years. The necklace had pink jewels that surrounded a small gold plate that had her own name engraved into it. She loved both of her gifts so much, she ran to her parents and hugged them so tight, her face turned pink from hugging them so hard. Her mother helped her put on the necklace and she grabbed the squishy and squeezed until her hands hurt, everyday. Later that day her father got a call from his work saying he got promoted and he would have 70% more pay. Her mother started crying and Velvet didn't understand. She tried to comfort her mother but her father explained why she was crying, " You see, sweetie, my boss just told me he's giving me more money to buy things with!" Velvet quickly understood and shouted with joy. She gave her father a big hug and then ran to her mother and did the same. They had wonderful days and were out of poverty from that Christmas day on.

I started collecting squishies this year. I don't get to buy them much because they are too expensive so I used to buy cheap ones from eBay. I don't receive presents on Christmas because my family doesn't really celebrate it culturally, but I love Christmas, even tho I don't celebrate it, but seeing how happiness and joy of people can make you so excited (I normally buy myself presents xD); But I will be so grateful if I could receive something and to also help my channel grow~!! Once upon a time there lived a squishy in the far away land of north pole where santa was brownie the bread doll, mrs.clause was sugar the bread doll. Their little baby was berry the breaddoll. Berry wanted a friend because it was her and all of brownie's little helpers. On christmas day she ran down the stairs and saw a wrapped present under the tree, precisly the squishy tree but she opened it and she found lots of little squishies including a jumbo turtle squishy she was so happy that she sang, tis the season to be squishy (it was cold outside so she already was squishier than usual) fa la la la la la la la la. Her mom (sugar) was very happy and so was brownie or squishy santa although he was so tired from a night of delivering gifts for all the nice little squishes.
So they had a very very merry squishmas
