It worked even after I had the cake out of the oven for a good 10 minutes might have been longer- it was warm but not hot- I soon as I saw the the cake had started to sink in middle I did tested again and found a spot that u had missed when testing it was cooked. the foil thing- it was still very moist and tasted the same as other times I’ve made it. Not sure if I got away with it because of the type of cake. But worth a go even if your cake has started to cool slightly- just took longer to warm back up but did keep cooking and didn’t dry out. It was a a nigellas vegan chocolate cake which is kind of like a fudge cake- so maybe a bit different.

I think the foil thing worked- I haven’t cut into yet tho. But still looked moist after cooking for a fair bit longer. I think I eventually managed to cook the middle, it seemed to come out mostly clear. I did take it out for 5 mins or maybe a little longer before I realised but it was still warm so hopefully it’s ok!

Ooh😩 I thought I was in luck & could save the cake - The outside is cooked (crunchy edge😋) but the middle is like sweet potato pudding lol... I thought I could put it back in the oven & came on YouTube to check 🙂 but I'm too late, as the cake has cooled down now 😣😟😩😞🎂

I added too much baking powder. Not sure what to do. ?? That is one reason cakes come out not done. Backed for an hour...and ten at 325.
