No Man's Sky - Excavated silver deposit unexpectedly restored.

Title says it all. One of my first bases, Vlindrell Hall, was built on top of two copper deposits. The first building of that base, also called Vlindrell hall, remained basically unharmed by the games aggressive restoring of the terrain I have always believed because it centered on the space occupied by the rather large copper deposit. The second deposit is still a hole behind the security office building. I always believed that mineral deposits are either very slow to recover or simply don't. Then this one "healed" overnight.
