Hi Lloyd!
Just wanted to say thanks! The Aventon Aventure is awesome! It has opened up a whole new world for me and my wife here in Rancho Cucamonga. We're getting outdoors and getting exercise. We take the Pacific Light Trail and designated bike lanes along Banyan. I recommend the Aventon Aventure to all my fellow retirees.

We have two first Gens Pace 500 bikes now for about eight weeks now. No complaints from us! Although we have not needed any repairs or service yet it sounds like customer service needs to step up to the plate.

Folks in your town are lucky to have a locally bike shop with an owner that knows his business.

Have you reviewed Ariel Rider's Kepler 52V 1k motor E-Bike? Unlocked 37mph throttle only, 41mph pedal assist. Been researching for a couple weeks & ordered one yesterday.

Does the front fork have “conventional” dropouts with a 9mm axel or is it a thru axel like the Level.2? I know the front axel on the Level.2 is 15mm x 100mm thru axel. Thanks in advance.

I just ordered the Aventon Pace 500 and one thing that I find to be a necessity, especially when riding on the street, is a mirror, basically to see cars/vehicles approaching behind me. And on my current bike I have a "Mirrycle MTB Bar End Mountain Bicycle Mirror", which required me to open up the end of the bike grip to attach the mirror inside of the handlebar. So will I be able to put this type of mirror to my Pace 500, and if not, can you recommend a brand of mirror to purchase?

Also, I currently have an "Inno Tire Hold 2 Bike Platform Rack Hitch" which has a carrier bike weight limit of approximately 48lbs per bike, so the Aventon website says the weight of the Pace 500 is 52lbs, so I'm assuming that when I remove the battery from the bike, the bike will be light enough to put on my rack. Do you know how much the Aventon Pace 500 weighs w/o the battery?

I bought an Aventon Pace 500 on labor day 2018. A month ago it stopped working and I took it back to the local dealer I bought it from. Aventon customer service is nonexistent. (google that face) There are only about 20 dealers in the US and they weren't communicating with my dealer. I decided to take the matter into my own hands and spent about an hour on hold trying to communicate with Aventon to find out why I can't get one. An upper-level Aventon person finally called my dealer and said they weren't getting any controllers " in the foreseeable future". I now have a very expensive bike sitting at my dealer taking up space. They are still selling them and those have working controllers but since they already have my $$ to hell with me. Buyer beware.
