Greek island of Lesvos inundated with refugees

Lesvos, a Greek island on the eastern Aegean, has received almost half of the 200,000 migrants and refugees entering the country in 2015 while thousands more continue to arrive. It has been very difficult for the island’s authorities to manage the crisis, not only because of the overwhelming number of people but also because of Greece’s own economic problems.
