Resin Inlay on Stabilized Maple Burl

Today we are doing a resin inlay on a piece of stabilized Maple Burl. I used a cnc machine to cut the void for the cnc resin inlay. Stabilized wood reduces the amount of problems you have while resin casting. We are making a resin and wood turning blank for our friend Dan from Dan C Bearded.

We did a live show with Dan where we poured the blank. We had a lot of fun and made some new friends.
