I don't people realize the sheer skill level it takes to pull this off. I've heard and mixed hundreds of jazz shows, and I would lose my shit if someone pulled to my club and did THIS especially on what would be treated like a toy by most professional players. Unreal

Why have I never seen anyone use a pocket trumpet? Regular ones are so loud, these would make so much sense when jamming with acoustic musicians.

What a great sound and fantastic playing. Bravo! I keep watching this video and am inspired to get a pocket trumpet. I’ve only learned about pocket trumpets from watching this video, which has compelled me to either get a pocket trumpet or get my old Vega trumpet out of the closet and try to play this piece. Three cheers to this player and also to reminding YT viewers of the master of early jazz rhythm and melodic creativity, the inimitable Louis Armstrong. ❤❤❤
