My goodness, so many of us carry these invisible wounds around. Does this have to be how it is? I will tell you a defiant NO! Society does not have to dictate our lives or our happiness. That is something we can create, but only after we give ourselves time to heal.

I wrote this poem about someone very close to me, and their inspiration I think all of us can learn from. Slowing down and healing the wounds society have given to us is crucial for personal growth. One cannot not move smoothly through life if they are carrying massive wounds. When we are physically injured, we slow the use of our bodies to heal ourselves. The same goes for emotional pain and mental diseases. Please reach out if you are feeling like you need to heal, but don't quite know where to start.

This Youtube video was inspired by Montell Fish, an artist and creator that we both think is super cool. Check him out!

We are a dynamic duo from New England, USA focused on finding what it means to live a fulfilling life, and actually living it. Our names are Mitch and Ely and we are the founders of A New Dream! As we entered adulthood we found ourselves increasingly unsatisfied with societal norms, and set off on this journey. We post art pieces, learn with us reactions, and teach about our learnings on our YouTube channel. We also post lifestyle and behind the scenes content on our Patreon and other social media! So, join us on this journey toward living better lives!

Even the darkness of night cannot hide those inner wounds. In deep stillness they are there. But a radiant smile comes along, and some wound starts to heal. .

Please react to Swami Sarvapriyananda. He is an Advaita Vedantic Monk, an amazing teacher with wonderful clarity, knowledge and great intellect. Advaita Vedanta is one of the oldest spiritual systems of the world. It would be great to explore different philosophies.
