Forget RESALE... We have a 1966 Piper Cherokee 180 that my Dad bought with the money he saved from three tours in Vietnam. Both my Father and Mother got their pilots licences together after they were married in 1973. Our Cherokee has been in the family and is planning on staying in the family. You can not put a dollar amount on Sentimental Value. May you and yours have many years enjoying your beautiful bird. It is awesome to see what you did! Yours is a most beautiful lady, may she continue to fly true for you.

Nice job. I flew my wife and our little boys from NJ to Sacramento CA in 1976. My wife said: "She would have had a better time if she knew in advance she would survive the trip".

The paint job was very tasteful. Totally changed the look of the plane.

VERY nice! I have a ‘66 140
As well (also a “Romeo”) … we’re going full polished exterior with bright red accents and Ceramic coating the whole plane. Love the paint on yours!

Appreciate the comment, thanks! The exterior paint was about 11k, the interior was around 8 or 9. I blew my budget pretty quick. I really didn't plan on doing the interior as thorough as I did, but once you start down the road... No point in stopping.

Wow what a beautiful airplane. I started my flying lessons in a Cherokee 140 back in 1968. That airplane always had a warm spot in my heart. You did a excellent job. What a sweet airplane, you should be proud.

Beautiful. Best Restauration of a 140 I have Seen. Got most of my training in it. Did 100 hr cross country as well. Love the airplane. Great fun.

A superb example of dedication to doing a job and doing it correctly. You have a new ship!

Well done. The PA28 series seems to be quickly fading but as someone with hundreds of hours in Cherokees, Archers and Arrows, I have a great appreciation for the low wing single that started it all. Your build looks great!

You turned a good solid affordable Aircraft into a beautiful flyer! Great Paint and good tips on the interior.

That looks like such a big job, but totally worth it when it’s done. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, and the paint is pretty darn nice too. Someday, maybe I’ll do my 140…

Very tastefully done, my friend! The Cherokee 140 is my favorite little trainer and “runabout”. I am prejudiced, however, since I spent about 3, 000 hours of my career instructing in them. I must confess that I envy you.

Absolutely awesome work, love the little Cherokee, what I learned in 49 years ago through most of my licenses. Great job

I was saving my money for something a couldn't afford diamond 40, but after watching your video I decided to look for a Cherokee 140. I found one in good shape after looking at a lot of them and spending a lot of money getting several of them checked out. keep up the good work. I will be making some flight videos soon.

Man, I love 140's. I have quite a few hours and a bunch more at night in a 140. The perfect plane to pop around in or take your favorite lady out for breakfast.

On of the safest single engine planes to fly due to that wing. I owned a 1966 Cherokee 140 when I lived in California N 6232W. I really loved that little airplane.
