Let's go under the 2023 Toyota Venza, take a look at the brakes, suspension, rear wheel electric motors and the exhaust. No much to see because of all the plastic shields. However, you may never see it this way, especially this clean.

Thanks Tony - I just got a 2023 Venza and haven’t seen a video of the undercarriage. Very interesting and well explained. I noticed that this car takes speed bumps very gently which is nice since we have a lot of them.

Hello Talking Car Buz, awesome underside and suspension review!

If able can you do a comparison of the suspension in Rav4 hybrid vs. Venza? Such as are thespring, shock, bump stop components the same and what makes the rav4 1" higher clearance than the venza?

Thanks Tony, I have a Venza so this was very interesting to see things I’ve never seen. BTW, I love the car!

Nice review. I notice the rear wheels have electric power delivered to them when accelerating from a stop. It seems that there are more 4WD conditions than just "when the system detects slippage"? Of course there are conditions when energy is taken from the rear wheels to charge the battery. I don't miss my V6.

Hi. I'm wondering if the plastic covering below the car would hold in contaminants like road salt and the like? Would it be harder to flush out and clean the underside, or would it help prevent rust?

Can you do video on the 2023 venza power train please. Like when does the gasoline engine kick in and what how the batteries get charged. It's your choice how technical you wantvto get in. Thank you.

We have a 2023 Venza. After a recent service it started having a clunking or popping noise from right rear wheel area. It’s been to the dealership 4 times and has not been resolved. It mostly makes this noise when the wheel is turned to the left going up and down an incline, where the right end is being flexed. Have you ever heard of this issue? We are very frustrated.

Has the cable corrosion issue been fixed on 2023 models?

This setup is very similar to my 2022 RAV4 Hybrid. I think it is as good as the best hybrid system available.

The rear turn signals are really low on these. Almost dangerously low. Especially for from what I’ve read for semi truck drivers. They cannot see them because of how high up they are in their truck.

Does part of the plastic have to be unscrewed for the oil changes?

That tire is NOT quiet and smooth. Worse thing on the Venza. Change out immediately

We looked at a new Venza to buy but our insurance premiums would have gone UP by $1K per year.
I sold my 11 Rav 4WD Limited and bought a Subaru Forester Touring instead.
My insurance DROPPED by almost $300 a year.
I asked my agent why my premiums went down and they said that the Outback and Forester have the highest safety rating according to the IIHS.
They have the IIHS Safety PLUS award. The Outback and Forester are the safest vehicles on the roads today.

Still I was shocked that insuring a Venza was going to cost us an additional 1 Thousand Dollars per year to Insure.

Is the catalytic converter covered by anything? With the rash of ones stolen over the last few years any deterrent is a good thing.
