New Module from Make Noise: Bruxa!

Показать описание
The Bruxa music synthesizer module is an audio alchemical experiment. Spill your sound into time, and let it decay through the filters to hear the results.

Bruxa is a collaboration between Make Noise and Alessandro Cortini. Inspired by Cortini’s music and sonic experimentations, Bruxa embodies the seen and unseen, the sign and magic, the alchemy of sound. It is a new evolution of Tony and Alessandro’s original prototype circuits which eventually became the Strega’s Time/Filter Experiment. It is a multi-tap delay line with over a dozen unique feedback paths and multiple filters within those feedback paths aligned to allow for accumulation of noise, saturation and signal degradation.

While Strega is a complete synthesizer in a tabletop form factor, Bruxa is a Eurorack module designed to be used as one part of a Eurorack modular synthesizer. You will discover a number of differences in layout, signals, and sound. Living inside the Eurorack modular system, Bruxa encourages you to patch your own sound and modulation sources, yielding results surprisingly distinct from Strega.

Bruxa is a special release that will be available by pre-order only. Orders will be shipping out to dealers this October. Contact your favorite Eurorack dealer for details and availability.

I really appreciate your style of introduction videos, enough information about what to expect, but also some philosophical aspects!

Beautiful. I could hear the Tangerine Dream sequencing delay and phaser-like time washing waves. Ordering one asap!

Make noise Cartesian was my first. And still a most favorite. Y’all are killing. Many thanks

Dang, I do wish they'd given access to a few of the different delay line outputs instead of a single mono mix. Lots more fun with self-patching, quadraphonic, running different delay lines through other modules etc. Still sounds like an interesting instrument on its own!

That panel design really stands out. Nice.

Great idea MN! I always considered the Strega to be the most innovative instrument from MN. Bruxa is going to be a great addition for those who want to have a piece of its genius inside their modular system.

Lovely🔥Looks like a perfect Strega pairing❤⚡️⚡️

Also, I’d like to say this module is really beautiful, the led seems to glow like a ghostly cloud, really goes with the character of the TIME circuit’s hazed out verb. As a Strega fan I think this module will make a lot of people happy. Great visuals, too. Thanks Make Noise...🦑

Before the show star, im here only to say again:

Strega = Witch in italian
Bruxa = Witch in portuguese

Seems like they took a page from the Lyra-8 by introducing a separate euro FX unit. Sounds really nice. Looks incredibly performable. Wish I hadn’t just shelled out for a verbos multi delay…

Am I missing something or is this doing anything other than BBD + Filter?
Sounds great but seems like MN jargon is trying to sell it as something more exotic

This definitely has a "Forbidden Planet" feel to it.
