Ibrahima Konate's First Liverpool Training | Gomez Returns & Milner Advice | REPORT

Ibrahima Konate has trained with his Liverpool team-mates for the first time - and been given a message by assistant manager Pep Lijnders.

The £36m signing from RB Leipzig has been getting Liverpool fans excited about his arrival by posting videos to his social media channels throughout the summer.

And on Monday they got the images they have been waiting for - as Konate trained alongside members of Jurgen Klopp’s squad on the first day of their pre-season camp in Austria, including Joe Gomez, who has made a welcome return from the injury that he sustained in November while away with England.

Klopp’s number two Lijnders spoke about day one in his training camp diary for Liverpool’s official website.

And it was in the diary entry that he gave Konate one piece of advice: 'Just listen to James Milner and everything will be fine'.

The evergreen Milner was once again leading from the front as the Liverpool players took part in the dreaded lactate test.
