I Competed in the Highland Games! We threw cabers, lifted stones, hammer threw, braemar, and more!!!

Well being a Scotsman, I was going to say that the Highland games are done outdoors and usually have quite alot of people watching so i was thinking something was wierd. That it was in Orlando makes sense! Thought you did pretty well in the events without having tried them before. When the Scots traders went to America they got on well with the native Americans because they took part in their games.

So, now we need the Seth games. 1st round - fight someone on a bus. 2nd: Sumo Match. 3rd: Muay Thai round. 5th - HEMA round with a long sword. 6th round: Some kind of eating contest. You've never done one of those, but I'm betting you can put down some pizza slices. 7th round: Who can punch the force-measuring-machine the hardest. 8th round: Caber toss (REDEMPTION ARC). 9th - BJJ round (unlimited time to submission). 10th and final round: 1 mile run for time. Invite Wonderboy. Needs to happen.

Honestly out of all the martial arts youtubers, I Feel you are honestly evolving the best in the type of style your content does, I love your new documentary style that you started since your "lets try different martial arts styles" series. Would be really cool to see if you can sneak into other sports like the NFL or the NHL or the NBA and join in on their training camps to show how hard it is. Would love to see someone film and document it with your style, you make a great host.

Lol it's funny, I think I commented a while ago that I am a Highland Games athletes who doesn't do any martial arts and I just love your channel for your personality, but it's great to see you try the games, I recently picked up doing MMA while my son does Judo

Looked like a fun competition. A real nice mix of Highland Games, Strongman and wrestling. If you get the chance definitely do a full Highland Games. Hammer, sheaf and weight for height are all super fun too.

Karate and wing chun are so good martial arts, when it comes to street fight keep it up in karate, it'll always give you chance to stay alive, because it's street situations, not a ring fight

I go to the local highland games here in my state (which is as much a festival as it is a competition); one time by best buddy took his brother in law. We explained to him the caber toss using sticks and he was like "what's so hard about that?" so we pointed out the trailer full of cabers and was like "those are cabers" and his mouth dropped. the moment was priceless.

Hey Seth, Eatonville, WA (a bit outside Seattle) hosts an annual Highland Festival & Games. It's actually this coming weekend (so a bit too late for you to book a plane flight, etc.), but keep it in mind for next year. Also, it's outdoors, but our summers here are pretty mild compared to the south (it sometimes gets somewhat hot, but not usually hot AND humid), so it could be a nice respite for you.
