What to expect for ULTRAWATCH in Overwatch 2 - Mythic skin, game mode and more.

Season 11 of Overwatch 2 got a name and a theme: Super Mega Ultrawatch.
The name is based on the popular Japanese TV series Ultraman, in which a pilot flies into an alien who gives him his extraordinary power: turning into a 40-meter-tall superhero called Ultraman. But the theme goes beyond that!

What can we expect for the other skins, the cosmetics, the Mythic skin, and the limited-time game mode? Let's have a look.

If Nintendo would let them crossover we could have some of the best skins of all time. Mario Mauga skin with warp pipes for guns. Genji Link skin with the master sword. Doomfist Captain Falcon with Falcon punch effects. Phara with Samus skin. Mei inkling skin. Ash pokemon trainer skin and her voice line is “Bob! I choose you!”

Fun Fact for those who dared to come down here...

Roadhog's skin, I now see with this info, is most likely based on Ultraman's first ever villain, Bemular! Bemular was made to resemble a kind of echo or nod to the original Kaiju, Godzilla. Additionally, the Horns also look like Bemular is powered up and in his giant monstrous phase!

If the mythic is tank rammatra would def be the perfect pick for this theme

I think one of the tanks makes more sense for the Mythic. Ramm changing into a huge monster when he goes into nemesis form just makes sense. Or Rein and DVa make sense as well.

If its a dps Mythic, I can only think of Bastion, Pharah, or Torbjorn tbh. And only Bastion seems plausible

I'd heard someone suggest Dva for the mythic because she already literally has a mech she gets into and as a Dva main I'm good with that, but the Bastion idea? I'm sold.

That said, if we're looking at a 'big bad' mythic....Ramatrra could pretty well pass off as Lord Zedd.

I'm still on the Bastion/Voltron train, though.

As someone who loves tokusatsu I am eating good this season. Hopefully the fan backlash doesn't discourage blizzard from making toku skins in the future.
