listened to this album last year, and oh my god what an experience. These Are The Days I think is one of the greatest songs I have ever heard. the concept of the album and subsequently why its titled that is genuinely unbelievable though LOL. like i think the singer thinks that texas is the new jerusalem... like it talks of in the bible??? or something??? God knows whats going on there, all I know is this album made me see god for real lol

The context connecting texas to jerusalem is Waco. It attracts a lot of cults because it is on the same longitude as Jerusalem and i believe is the only city in the US on that longitude that also has a spring, which apparently has some big metaphysical meaning to folks.
