The OECD Pensions Outlook provides an analysis of different pension policy issues in OECD countries covering both public and private, defined benefit and defined contribution, pay-as-you-go and funded retirement provisions. Prepared against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition discusses policy guidelines to help governments strengthen the resilience of their retirement savings and old-age pension systems.

This publication will be launched virtually on 7 December 2020 by Angel Gurría, OECD Secretary-General, followed by a roundtable discussion between Greg Medcraft, OECD Director of Financial and Enterprise Affairs, Olivia Mitchell, Executive Director of the Pension Research Council in Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Eric J. Pan, President and CEO of the Investment Company Institute, and Helen Rowell, Deputy Chair of the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority and President of the International Organisation of Pension Supervisors.
