Thanks for this video. I've also been contemplating switching from my 32R to the HD 8. I use the 32R for both live use and recording. Live use is good. Recording and using plugins live has been frustrating. I have the ES 4 so i think i mostly understand, but I'm curious if you feel like you lost any features or usability making the switch.

Maybe this is a weak question, but what is the difference in application between reamping and, say, dispatches or inserts? Of course, I'm talking about working with Studio One and non-guitar sound :) e.g. from keyboards. How does it relate to Studio One Pipeline?

On the autolevel feature - do you find the level set a little conservatively low, or are the levels more ideal, as good as you would set manually? Thanks.

One thing that noone mention is if you can use the guitar front ins/outs as a DI-box? That is, plug the guitar to input 1, copy that signal to one of the reamp outs and listen to your wet guitar while recording the dry guitar? Or record both at the same time? This is a crucial function, otherwise I will still need to use a separate DI-box. It shouldn't be a problem to route input 1 to output 1 or 2, but... Noone talks about this and noone can answer. Not even presonus customer service can answer.
And these units had been around for some time now, I'm very surprised noone made a reamping video yet? It's one of the new selling points for this device, yet there are no examples of someone doing it? Strange....

Your headphone setup is what I am curious about before I buy this. I was hoping to use the rear outputs for extra headphone monitoring. Can you elaborate on what you used for sending the signal from the rear 10 outputs to your headphone amplifier? (cable type and UC settings). I have an ART 6 channel headphone amp. I’ve been having trouble doing hardware inserts via pipeline. The only way I can get it to work is by bypassing the mixer software. Am I missing something?

Same problem I had work fine till I installed mixer software I was on the phone for 3 hours with Sweetwater tech I sent my unit back tech support told me the unit must be defective waiting on replacement. Lol how do you bypass mixer software and thanks in advance.
