I'm a Japanese🇯🇵 farmer. To me, chickens are a very cute and friendly animal. When you are sitting alone in the yard, they will come to you step by step, and then sit next to you or fly to you. I like to handle their crops, very interesting, very soft.❤

Last year my mom found an injured chicken near the street while she was driving home and took it to the vet. The wing was a little wounded and they gave her medicine and told her to take care of it.

We named her Dolly and the little girl became a familiy member verry soon. She sat with us every evening when we watched TV and we cuddled with her just like in this video.

When she recovered, we gave her to a sanctuary where she could live a happy life with other chickens until the end. It was hard and I still miss her, but Im happy for her and I will never forget her.

I always knew, chickens kind of have feelings and emotions but Dolly teached me, how much more they do than I ever thought. You really can have a great friendship with them. ❤🐔

My neighbor has a big ole chonky chicken. It snuck over to our yard one day and I came out to find it was very friendly. It even let me pick it up and pet it. I returned it telling them it's welcome over anytime so long as they don't mind me calling her Nuggernaut. They audibly went "awww" and now it's name is officially Nuggernaut. Sometimes it sits on my feet. Chickens are warm

I damn well try to hug the chickens in our flock everyday. If all I could do the rest of my days is hold and pet our chickens I would without hesitation. Having a chicken safe haven, that's a dream I have to one day where all chickens are welcome and free to live their best lives loved and cared for always!
