A few weeks ago I asked my audience what I could do to go above and beyond. You told me more book recommendations and more shortform content in between main Philosophy Tube episodes, so I shifted my post-show livestreams to my main channel and hired a new team of editors to make highlight reels from those streams - this is the first highlight reel! The new editing team are paid for by the superchats and adsense money from the streams themselves. The highlight reels are subtitled in English!

I like these shorter recap videos. I don't tend to watch streams, but I really liked the book recaps. I might need to check out the unreasonable hospitality book, the stuff you talked about concerning being the head of a project without being the manager of it all. That's right where I am in my career right now and my biggest challenge is learning to say no, because I take on more than I can handle. And I used to work in food service, so it'd totally connect with me (maybe lol). Thanks!

SUGGESTION: If book recommendations are going to be a regular thing, would love to see them in the description.

I am not always watching personally in a place where I can write things down, so the ability to screenshot something for later for example is great. Would love if the video description would list book recommendations. In non-book recommendation clips this would also include things like other podcasts or movies or games or whatever it is that Abi mentions by name that someone might want to go find.


Business out of the way, I like this idea. Sometimes I have the time to watch the whole after show, but sometimes I do not prioritize the postmortems because there are you know plenty of other things competing for that time. I love the ability to get to see interesting or notable pieces of the postmortem even if I don't make the time to watch the whole thing. 💚 Much appreciated

Kudos to you and your editing team! I only caught part of the stream when it was on and this was a really engaging way to see the bits I missed. Both the big things (e.g. grouping the books in such a way that the chat about that transitioned into the making of the video) and the smaller things (e.g. adding fun little visual aids like the Transphobia Watch chyron) enhance it.
