I left healthcare end 2019 before pandemic for my sanity, and/or driven out by a diva medical director... once you feel like you let the disabled low income seniors I serve, worked and volunteered for. BUT the executive love their salaries... nothin ever changes... ICHS is ran like a dictatorial.

Medical field is one of the hardest industries to enter. For really long time they put too much barriers for low income kids to enter the field. Tuition fee are too expensive, prepping for entrance exam cost a lot, and even finding a place to volunteer had been hard if you have no connection or know someone.

On average to get into nursing school is like jumping through hoops of fire, they gatekeep a lot. Also not to mention the grading scale and getting through the program. On average they admit 32 students but half graduate if that on time.

Welcome to capitalism. The only thing the companies want is high profits.
Medicare for All anyone? Regulations on Medical companies? Let's have our country work for us, not the other way around.

Nurses keep talking, complaining, striking, and nothing changes. Same for teachers. It’s a waste of breath and honestly futile. This has been the same thing over and over for decades and here we are in a worse than ever spot. I stopped wasting my breath and living my life. It will consume you and nothing ever changes.
