Re-imagining domestic policies for sustainable and inclusive debt relief

IDRC co-hosted a side event at the 2022 Forum on Financing for Development to exchange ideas that could guide debt relief efforts. Building on IDRC-funded research currently underway in 12 low-income countries, panelists discussed how cumulative challenges are emerging and what policy options could be used to achieve development goals. during the restructuring or rescheduling of the debt.
