@00:31 It's like you can feel that hug. And you can almost read their minds: "Look how far we've come. We used to sleep on dirt in the basement of the dungeon. Now look at us. At the top." And with hip hop you know these moments are fleeting. Groups break up, folks die young, so these moments are even more special in this genre.

What an iconic moment for Big Boi & Dre. This truly was a climbing mount everest moment. The fact that they're only the hip hop group to win this award is mind blowing, but speaks to the talent of OutKast.

The fact this is the last rap album to win AOTY for 18 years and counting is painful, especially with many great albums (TPAB, g.k.M.c, MBDTF, etc.) getting snubbed over the years. Obviously, Kanye West has a chance this year (2022) with Donda but however that's very unlikely as there are many other albums that are better compared to that. Hopefully Kendrick Lamar's next album will break the curse.

The only rap duo to ever get a Grammy and certified RIAA Diamond status for their entire album! I love albums where you can just press play let the whole thing play bc ALL of the songs are fire!!

I LOVE THIS ALBUM! I was 20 years old with this album came out and fell in love. I'm 37 and I'm still listening to outkast. A superb album that stands true yet all these years. A very much deserved award. Man, music truly isn't what it use to be. So happy to have been born in the 80s.

Saddly the last rap/hip-hop album to win AOTY... so many amazing albums of this genre that were released since 2003. A shame kendrick, for exemple, didnt win, or kanye, or jay z, eminem, nas, mf doom, run the jewels, freddie gibbs... well, you name it
