Make Money With Your Laser, Laser cut lanterns (full tutorial)

In this video I will walk you through how to make a very profitable product from start to finish. It was one of the first things I made when i started my laser engraving journey, once I found that boxes are very simple to make with a laser.

I want to make a few things very clear. I need to practice more with lanterns. I'll admit I've only made one so far, but i need to figure out how best to set up my settings to cut them. I had quite a few spots that had too much burn on thinner sections. I need to figure a way around that on my diode laser before I can confidently start selling them. I was still able to assemble it and you can't tell once its painted, but still. I want to make sure its as nice as possible in the results without paint. Practice, practice, practice.

Great video. I’m new to lasers but have seen a box, similar to the lantern, used as an exterior for a flower vase, with slotted sides. I like the look of the finished slots and wondered if you have a video covering that type of joint/finger. I couldn’t find anything on boxes py.

I've tried these with ply and mdf before but the solid wood looks great. Can I ask where you source 6mm thick wood cost effectively?
