DSG7/DQ200 Gearbox-Mechatronic Breathing Sound

After last VW gearbox software update(4562) you can hear the Gearbox-Mechatronic making some strange sounds .
After the engine shutdown you can hear some breathing sounds (like human breathing).

my scirocco sounds like this after the last update and oil change. 10.000 kms since this update and no problem, only this curious sound.

@Fredj A. H why does VW keep telling me that mechatronics unit is a sealed unit and oil can't be changed? I changed it. And it runs smoother than ever..

Funny thing is, mine after one year does not do it any more... What is up with that?

Hello, I have a Mk6 golf 2009 TSI 1.4, DSG 7speed, also makes this sound after engine shuts off, also i have a code 6012, car seems okay, but i abit scared of any trouble here, any advise???

Unfortunately I have Audi A3 with s-tronic. Audi said it's not a DSG. We now that it's not true, but they doesn't recall it. :-( replacing it now on culance.

Audi unfortunately don't have good, reliable gearboxes. I use to have problems on my previous car Audi A4 B7 2.0TFSI Quattro. I have to replace hydraulic torque converter in about 65-70 000km. Also Audi said, that oil in gearbox is lifetime. Never believe that. Gearbox was made my ZF and they wrote in technical description that oil should be changed every 60 000km. When I disassemble hydraulic torque converter I found that it was destroyed by overheated oil that wasn't changed in time by me. I didn't know that it should be change. Audi doesn't offer this to the customer. Only if customer asks for oil change in gearbox! Be aware!

I have a 2012 vw polo gti 1.4 and mine normally makes that sound after turning off engine, didn't know it was the transmission, thought it was the turbo winding down...

Did you know that the mechatronic made in china (CN) even the mechatronic with word (made in germany) are made in china!
