He's got the guts and conviction to place multi million dollar bets while we sit on the sideline saying "We told you so". When it doesn't go the way we think, we ignore it. A PUT option is when you take your car to Carmax and they give you a piece of paper saying, we will pay you $800 for your car. You now have a guarantee that you can "Put" your car to them at an agreed upon price. It's not worth much, unless the thing has a thrown rod bearing and only you know about it, lol.
