Chloe’s actress is the only character in this trailer that reminds me of their character from the games

My issue with Tom Holland is that I don't think he will grow into the role. He has a very Micheal J Fox quality about him where even when he's older he's going to feel very youthful and fresh faced.

As Uncharted is favourite gaming franchise this actually looks fairly solid but I don’t see Nathan Drake and Sully all I see is Tom Holland as Peter Parker and Mark Wahlberg.

As a huge fan of the games, I'm not sold at all. I love Tom Holland but I don't think he's right for the role. I don't think Mark is either!
It gives me the same feeling as the Tomb Raider adaptation of the reboot did. It's more generic hollywood action movie than Uncharted. Though I do admit Uncharted itself was already pretty "generic hollywood action", which is why it needed to highlight how and where it's not.
Also, how is it supposed to a franchise with sequels when they mixing events from different games and different points in the chronology?

As a fan of the Uncharted series, this does nothing for me. Looks like all they tried to do is recreate the set pieces, and everyone looks miscast

I think a big problem with creating a franchise based off of videogames is that unlike book adaptations it's already a visual media with a popular precedent for aesthetic that they have to be compared to, which leads to disappointment when it's not met, that's why Marvel invest so much in actors that strongly resemble their character counterparts

As someone who played the game I'm unimpressed. Just looks like a hodgepodge of the scenes from the games recreated in live action. Also Wahlberg is no Victor Sullivan.

As a standalone this looks great, as an Uncharted movie I'm not convinced which is odd... I guess that's the power of expectations!

I love Tati Gabrielle she looks stunning, she’s always steals the show can’t wait to see what she does in this!

Tom Holland is becoming one of those actors.
Where he's Tom Holland in everything 🤣

He joins the likes of Will Smith, Mark Wahlberg, Ryan Reynolds, The Rock and many more

I’m a massive fan of the game and it feels like they’re blending in all 4 games into a movie. It just feels weird and unnecessary. And that’s not even mentioning the horrible casting of Sully

As someone who hasn't played the games, it looks pretty generic. Generic can be fun, I would watch it on Netflix, but I probably won't go to the theaters for this.

As a fan of the game, my issue is that Tom Holland seems that he is taking him self too seriously. Nathan drake sounds like he's having fun even when he is hanging from a cliff and literally dying. It seems that they got the best action sequences from the last two games, but this feel nowhere near an uncharted experience.

It’s weird that this is supposed to be a prequel but they’re doing the plane crash scene from Uncharted 3. I feel like Uncharted fans like myself will hate this and non fans will just see it as a generic action movie 🙃

As a mild Uncharted fan- gotta say no he doesn’t come off as even a young Nathan Drake to me. He’s just Peter Parker which is disappointing, guess he has no range? No hate, Jon Bernthal does great and he’s just got his thing lol

Tom Holland's a great actor and stunt performer.
He's not actually too young anymore.
But the guy LOOKS so young, I mean I looked older than him when I was 15 :D

“If he gets back in the plane again.” I said the same thing too Grace 🤣🤣🤣

It’s extremely strange how it combined all the Uncharteds.
-The Pirate plot of 4 + Nadine
-The plane set piece of 3 + the power turn on/Irish guy reminds me of the start of 3.
-The wake up scene from the beginning of 2.
-Then the ground below the plane gives me Uncharted 1 vibes but also could be 4.

Kinda wanted to see one of them adapted but I’m just hoping it’s good. Holland has the Nathan Drake mannerisms.

Tom Holland is no Nathan Drake, and he never will be. He's one of those people doomed to look like a teenager well into their 30's. Walburg might have made a decent Nate if they'd done this movie a decade ago, but he sure as heck isn't Sully. The only thing in this trailer that was cool was the plane scene, and that's only because it's such an iconic scene from the 3rd game. It's like they looked at the games without every having played them, and just made the rest up. I anticipated exactly this, and as usual I was right. As a huge Uncharted fan I'll watch it, but I already know I won't like it. It'll probably make for a decent generic treasure hunting action flick, but as an Uncharted adaptation it fails miserably.
