Seems like you would want to stick with Wyze for the doorbell to avoid 1 more app

Have been loving all the wyze products, the first gen lightbulbs I have been frustrated with, but ended up getting a new pack of the colored and haven't had any issues with them discontinuing. I have found for people that do leaving their porch light on at night setting up routines of turn on at sunset and off at sunrise to be the best with the wyze lightbulbs also.

Are all these compatible with Matter? Wyze bulbs are pretty good, maybe better than sengeled and they do the same thing, multi color and can be scheduled I believe or come on randomly so it seems like someone is home. Wyze cams might be good on a budget but notification is really slow. If you don't have Cam plus subscription then you only record to the SD card but will get delayed notification and screen shot if an event is detected so you can rewind back in the recording to see the event. Momentum makes a garage door opener with a camera, it was unreliable but with software updates and maybe their cloud being better it's more reliable now. Comes with free cloud recording and you can also use an SD card. The camera on the momentum has two way talk as well. Ring doorbell is pretty good or you can go with Eufy and have no subscription but it's more expensive than the $99 Ring, maybe it will save you money over time.

Loving the videos! I haven't seen anything about smart hot water heaters or smart controllers to attach to normal water heaters...worth a video?

What device are you viewing the alexa app on? That looks a whole lot faster than my Pixel. The app just seems to get slower and slower with each update.

I have a question about Smart Devices. I am a beginner in Smart Home and need some help. I am thinking about using Alexa as my Smart Platform.

Can I plug an old pellet stove into a smart outlet? The pellet stove did not come with its own thermostat. Therefore, all I want to do is to turn the pellet stove off remotely (by cell phone) if my Ecobee thermostat reads it is 80 degrees or above in the house.

Also, would you tell me if it is possible to create the following program in Home Assistant or another Smart Device Program. “If the Ecobee thermostat reads 80 degrees or above in the house it would turn off automatically the pellet stove smart outlet. When the temperature drops below 70 degrees, turn the Pellet Stove smart outlet back on and turn on the furnace (the Ecobee thermostat is connected to an oil furnace)”.

Thanks for your help.
