Hi USA,
Here is how you can fix your elections:

1. Every citizen from a certain age is automatically registered to vote.
2. Every citizen receives an invitation to vote 6 weeks before election day.
3. With this notification you can request an absentee ballot (no questions asked) or vote at any time in your local town hall.
4. On election day (a holiday where schools, most businesses and factories are closed) every school and many municipal buildings are voting sites.
5. You can vote with the notification you got or with a photo-ID from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
6. You vote on a paper ballot which is re-counted and archived.
7. You wait for about 24 hours until everything is counted and confirmed and then present the results.

It is not that hard. You taught us how to do it this after WW2.
