This removal process and instruction can successfully be used on the Acer Aspire 5738G, 5739G, 5740G, 5741G, 5742G, 5738Z, 5739Z, 5740Z, 5741Z, 5735Z, 5536, 5551, 5732, 5532 series and others. This replacement method is a standard way of removing and changing a cracked LCD screen from a laptop or netbook. The screen for this series is the 15.6 CCFL HD LCD type.

@Deadmau5tic Thanks for pointing that out. Use the same method. The laptop we have used has got an already broken cover before we started removing working on it. You can tell from the begining of the repair.
