Interestingly, apples have always seemed to be a symbol of envy, or a vehicle of disaster, in storytelling. The Apple eaten that cast Adam and Eve out from the Garden of Eden, the Apple of Discord; thrown by the envious and angry, goddess of chaos for not being invited. An apple that ignited a terrible war that also acted as a domino effect that led to Odysseus’ arrogance and suffering. An apple the Evil Queen used to kill Snow White out of envy and spite.

Man, this brings me back to when I was little. When I was around 7 I often visited my grandmother and she often played a cassette tape of Snow White which me and my siblings loved!
